INVESTING IN A CLIMATE FOR CHANGE

UNEP has been responsible for many Energy Finance initiatives, particularly in developing countries. Several of these programmes are outlined in the brochure: “Investing in a Climate for Change”, which was written by Parallax’s MD.  This brochure highlights some of UNEP’s ongoing or recently completed activities that show how clean technologies can be made affordable to end-users and attractive to investors. This process also builds long-term markets for suppliers and generates related economic and social benefits from job creation and improved energy access.”
